We are excited to announce that Elizabeth Rios, nurse practitioner at our Harvard Area Community Health Center, has been honored by the Migrant Clinicians Network as one of the "30 Clinicians Making a Difference." Elizabeth first started working with CHP as a student, where she had a clinical rotation at our Woodstock, Illinois clinic. Since then, she has moved on to our Harvard Clinic, where she has been caring for patients with her blend of warmth, knowledge, and caring.
"When [patients] leave the room with a smile, that means a lot to me. It can mean hope, it can mean relief, it can mean satisfaction, it can mean trust. And when they gain your trust, it means they'll come back...and they'll let other people know how safe it was." - Elizabeth Rios
